Visibility

A poem about finding your tribe and being seen in a world of blind people.

So you're odd or shy or nervous,

geek, freak, wallflower, with pages left unread,

by those who skim mere hieroglyphs,

with eyes that will never understand.

I will lift you from your dusty shelf,

and breathe the cobwebs from your corners.

My heart speaks the language you were written in,

and my soul is a native of your land.

Afterword of wisdom...

If you live your life with honesty, integrity, loyalty and kindness, it is impossible to go unnoticed.

Even if people don't seem to notice your presence, they will sure as hell notice your absence!

About the Creator

The Rose

I have been writing poetry since a very young age. I don't usually share, but I thought I would get some of it out into the world.
