How you effected the whole of my viscera

heart, it’s like a stinger was let inside with a sutured kiss.

lungs, it’s like helium was frozen inside of them.

liver, the leftover stuff from your runaway trauma from your childhood was filtered through in here

intestines, I miss you, I miss you,

stomach, I miss you

kidneys, I

Miss

You

Thoracic Viscera: Heart, lungs:

It’s as though the lungs warped to wrap a noose around my heart

Choking on the leftover helium that froze itself inside

Crying slow drops of liquid flight

The temperature so low that I might faint

The goodbye, the death,

The love that severed itself

The visceral viscera that remade my organs into sludge.
