Virulent. | Part IV

Part 4

By Angel DavisPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

a smile,

the expression she convinced her cheeks to maintain,

his aura

dangerously proud in the company of prying eyes.

the talons adorning homicidal paws wrapped around her soul,

a mere foreshadowing of what was to be in the middle of the moon's spotlight.

muffled voices danced around her

and his claws drew blood.

she was extinct

her skin made of clay instead of porcelain:

cold,

unmoving,

emotionless.

SCREAMING IN ANGUISH.

her cries fell upon uninterested ears

and the very existence of her

wouldn't

see

another

dawn.
