Violent Vent

Emotions Mixed

By Elizabeth ButlerPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Screw this and screw that.

My head a volcano,

Pounding in my heart.

I feel my anger rising,

That cannot stop in time.

F this and F that.

I’m a bomb that’s just set off.

The people who surround me,

Get hit from falling blasts.

I scream into the valleys,

That echo through the cliffs.

This world right now is too much,

I cannot bear the suffering.

I want to say this now,

’Cos I cannot stand,

The way they hide,

Behind their screens,

To spew their hate.

It’s like they can say anything,

And not get caught again.

A right they have,

To abuse,

The differences they can see.

I am angered,

By them all,

For all they want is chaos.

I find it hard,

To shut my mouth,

And let them spew this hate.

Screw this and screw them,

They need to stop right now.

Another half a decade,

And we will lose ourselves.

I vent with a passion,

Then I hear me cry,

F this world,

That we all live,

I curse them all to hell.
