say it plainly challenge
i am living fully
i see what is here and feel deep wonder
i love simple pleasures and sit still long enough to enjoy them
i gather experience and stay present in my body
i allow myself to feel joy and discomfort
i make space for both grief and happiness
i choose simplicity
i swim, warm myself in the sun, walk in forests, and learn from nature
i notice details
i collect rocks and shells and use them to decorate my life in an effort to always stay connected
i laugh
i sit with beautiful moments until they pass
i embrace the marks that life has left on me
i release control
i create rituals that bring me pleasure
i honor my natural state and the ways that time has altered me
i watch people and notice how they change
i am paying attention
i love
i write and read and make art
i stretch and breathe
i allow optimism to become a focal point
i notice nuance
i am evolving
i am

About the Creator
Kristen Balyeat
Words fly to me on the wind, bump me as I'm strolling the city, splash me in the face while I rest by the river, and shake me awake in the middle of the night—I’m humbly one of the vessels they use to come to life.
Also, i love you:)
