ur rage

i know ur afraid but ur hurting us

By Amber GracePublished 10 months ago Updated 9 months ago 1 min read

u hate ur own reflection

and in my hand there is a mirror

so u deny my recollection

and that makes it even clearer

if you don’t like what u see

i hope u know that i do

i just wish u’d stop hurting me

and start telling the truth

when you tell me u love me

then leave me to hang

and i say that it hurt me

it’s bc i wished u would stay

but anyone who’d ask you

to stop being mean

to be honest

to be brave

is in for it,

abandonment

withdrawal

because you’re afraid

and all you know is rage

u don’t trust us til it’s too late

til love’s engulfed in ur hate’s flame.
