Down with Jones's

These days and for a long time

it's been halloween just about three-sixty-five

With the right lies, Jekyll wouldn't need Hyde

They'll let you get away with murder

if you're the right kind.

How long does it take to bury inside

surely this isn't you

when you're alone in your room

because I gotta be honest

I really can't tell that lie

If i had to fight that hard

I would have died

I can't live that lie

Don't even know how but

I wouldn't want to live

just to be liked

by people

I don't even respect

If I can't be real

I like me and if I couldn't say how I feel

I think I would rather kill

the part of myself that wants that approval

I'm not made for appraisal

I just want to be faithful

to who God made me to be

If they like the mask

I will just toss it to the world

they can talk to plastic
