Shivering and defenseless you cried out but no one heard
You did not know how to speak a single word
Your life had just begun but you didn’t have a chance
The cruelty you were shown by unloving and ill tempered hands
Malice and hate and anger and strife
No pity was shown to this one struggling life
Your body stopped shivering and no more let out its cries
The world continues to walk past as a child dies
No one cares
No one knows
Only blank stares
Only cold snows
Oh child,
You never knew love but today you will be loved
You only knew pain but your sufferings will be no more
Death comes tonight
And it's cradle will hold you close
Feel the warmth of it's embrace
As the as glow falls from your face
You will not have to feel the cold wind blow

The Voyeur's Incandescent Reasoning
The woman sat nonplussed, in the Waiting Room. In a sort of daze, looking straight ahead patiently. She had already had three small breakfast's that morning and a nip of sherry, this was not unusual she would typically wait until an hour after she took her anti-depressant and was her morning routine. She was merely following instructions she assured herself, shifted slightly in her seat and feeling a little heart burn thought, maybe she should skip lunch. Dom had said to have the task done this week. She was well used to his methods and desired to get this over and done with soon. She glanced at her watch, smiled weakly at the Receptionist who was there for a moment and then gone.
