There she is,

Dancing in a silhouette

Breathing in her cigarette,

Playing with my heart like a marionette.

But here I stand with no regret,

Watching her dance her steps of death.

The last steps she ever took

Before my whole world shook.

Spin around one more time,

Let me see you as you glide your feet so graciously

across the floor.

I can't take this anymore,

I just want to dance with you.

Only heaven could tell

How you dance so well.

Our steps were a last farewell,

And down the steps you fell,

Only to arise again as an angel.

Spin around one more time,

There is no time to say goodbye,

So walk across the room so bare,

And let me lift your soft blonde hair

And whisper to you all you know to be true.

I miss you.

In my dreams you lay

Until I wake to see another day.
