Its your loss, but I am the one who cries

I suffer not the dark but the daylight

all you never were

And everything you will not be

And as I lay that man to rest

I wish I could crawl into the ground beside him, lay my head gentle upon his chest

Because he was my hero and I will mourn his death

About the Creator

Elsa Michaela | @surfthought

When you hear a song

One that stops you in your tracks

That seems spoken from your own mind

Do you listen and listen again?

Follow its streams until a tide,

Inside you

Rushes to fill in the small hollow parts

…Yeah, me too
