Until Debt Tear Us Apart

Time Is Money

I’m more afraid of debt than I am of death

For some reason my parents don’t understand this

They say, “You just give up too quickly”

Que sera

Sera

Whatever will be

Will be

I used to believe this too

My life has told me otherwise

I can’t live the way I want with this crippling debt

It breaks my legs and crushes my wings

I have a feeling that I am meant to fly

But I’m crawling

Just getting by

Believe it or not

It’s not just about the money

It’s mostly about the time

I sold it for a salary

My life drains away hourly

As do the ideas in my head

That wouldn’t be a problem

If I was dead
