Until dawn, the night is long

The darkness seems to stretch and yawn

But we hold tight, we carry on

For soon the sun will greet us, drawn

By then we'll see what's been unknown

All shadows gone, all secrets shown

The world will light up, come alive

And we'll emerge from where we've thrived

Our dreams and fears, both tucked away

In corners of our minds they stay

Until the morning brings them out

To face the light, without a doubt

Until dawn, we wait and hope

And hold each other, tightly cope

For though the night may seem so vast

We know the sun is coming fast.
