When darkness learns to criticize the stars

The blind held my face
and counted every flaw.

They traced the edges of my smile,
measured the shape of my silence,
and wrote their opinions
with confident hands.

They have never seen beauty,
yet they know exactly
where mine fails.

The deaf gathered around my voice.

They did not hear my words,
but they corrected my tone.
They never listened,
yet somehow they knew
what I meant.

Funny, isn’t it?

The world is full of people
who have never entered your heart
but still leave reviews
on its walls.

So I stopped explaining myself
to those who came without eyes
and stayed without ears.

Some people are not missing understanding.

They are missing the desire for it.
