I truly adore baby animals!

They’re undeniably cute and cuddly

Dozily defenceless, fluffy balls

Irresistibly, smoochably snuggly.

They’re undeniably cute and cuddly

Fleet footed, leaping… full of life

Irresistibly, smoochably snuggly

Or… creating a cacophony of strife.

Unpredictable and risky

Or… creating a cacophony of strife.

Playful, mischievous… often frisky.

Unpredictable and risky

Nips and scratches from teeth and claws!

Playful, mischievous… often frisky

Ah… I truly adore baby animals!

A/N: Thanks for issuing this challenge Natasha. It prompted me to revisit my Pantoum attempt which has been languishing for a year. Denise E. Lindquist’s poems were my first exposure to pantoums.

Denise’s pantoums…
