Unpacking the Heart

R7

A heart burdened with pain, and memories untold,

A weight that it carried, growing more bold.

In the airport of life, it had come to unload,

Its emotional baggage, before it exploded.

The ties that once bound, were now cast aside,

The hurt and the sadness, no longer to reside.

For a brighter tomorrow, lay ahead in sight,

And the heart felt relieved, of its load tonight.

So it took to the skies, on its journey so fair,

With the wind in its wings, and the sun in its hair.

And the past was forgotten, and its troubles erased,

As the heart found new joy, and a life unencased.
