Unknown Woman

I am that bonfire at the party,

that you can’t seem to part your sight from.

I am that one mathematical equation,

that you will never quite make sense of.

I am the crossword puzzle,

that you can never figure out.

In the old newspaper,

that had the answer page ripped out.

If a picture is worth a thousand words,

then I am an art piece on display.

A unique statement,

from each and every angle.

For what you see in me,

is only yours to say.
