A Little Poem About a Dream I Had

Witnesses a murder of the unknown.

Sent to take a lie detector test.

When being hooked up the man notices the heart begin to race at levels close to a heart attack.

Without saying a word to anyone he slowly looks up and looks forward.

Are you okay?

Turns to him slowly.

Eyes flicker as if it was lizard eyes that glitched.

Man jumps back.

Head shifts back like a possession.

Body shakes.

Room goes dark.

No one really knows what happened in that room besides that man, but hes long gone. He went missing shortly after, but everyone assumed hes dead.

Pans from the outside in as the bars come into focus.

Been in here every since that night, put myself in here.

Better off that way. No one needs to know what was seen, truth be told, honestly have no idea.

But whatever it was, whatever had happened, it protected itself that night.

Loud noise.

Patients yell.

Cell door opens.

You have a visitor.

Been in here 10 odd years, never seen anyone outside this place.

Cold shivers.

Unfamiliar face.

Her eyes glitch just like they did that night.

It's you!

Whoever it was, whoever committed that murder was standing in that room.
