We are ants.

The Universe is vast and we are mere ants.

With the ability of consciousness.

Ability.

We have been thrust the magic of thought.

The power of knowledge.

We forget we are mere ants.

The Universe, a giant that simply observes.

I wonder what it must think.

I wonder if it laughs.

Do we entertain the universe?

Our problems and woes a laughable thing.

Has it seen our evolution a million times over now?

Are we so predictable?

Has the world lived and died a thousand times over?

Doomed to repeat our triumphs and mistakes over and over.

A loop.

We are ants.

The universe silently watching.

Waiting.

Will we change?

Can we become something greater?

The universe is vast and we are mere ants.
