Unfulfilled Life

A thought on life journey in the society

My mother on dirt path @Seema

Life is a journey,

we say we are free,

but we all know the shackles of society block us,

If we dare to be true to self,

isolation and punishment will come our way.

If we don’t fulfill motivation,

if we make people small,

unknowingly,

we will be hated.

We need acceptance to thrive,

so we will tormented.

If people were kinder,

we could have gone where we wanted,

seen the spectacles of nature,

and made the most of life.

But in the monkey business of society,

the finite life ends,

and we exit with remorse

and unfulfillment.
