Unforgiven

Forgive me for lacking the strength

to walk through the world like you do.

For not taking taking advantage of knowledge

or having a goal to pursue.

Forgive me for all that I am.

For all the odd things that I do.

Forgive me for not fitting in

and for not having parents like you.

Forgive me for making mistakes.

For taking so long just to learn.

Forgive me for forgiveness sakes

in case i'm speaking out of turn.

Forgive me before I am gone.

For those that lead to carry on.

Forgive me in case I am wrong

but i've been unforgiven to long.
