You should take a moment
To look deeply in the space
Located somewhere roughly
One foot in front of your face
It's impossible to measure
A place that doesn't feel
Regardless of your focus
Could ever be real
Yet when you stare upon it
Looking beyond the limits hold
One may think without measure
There's a beauty to behold
For in that ethereal non-space
That gap beyond life and time
With a steady glare of wonder
You find something sublime
We can see all the questions
It’s the answers we can never find
A riddle we ask ourselves
Like drawing a square without lines
We spend our whole lives searching
Hoping and listlessly undefined
For an acceptable solution
To the madness we confine
Yet here we are daydreaming
Spinning circles in our minds
The beauty of the freedom
Lost thinking as we pass time

Of all the things I enjoy writing about, my honest self is certainly not one of them.
I'm inspired by the great stoics, various storytellers, drunks at a bar, and random conversations while strangers and I share a wait time.
