Did you really think it was supposed to end great?
This was a station I would have loved to park
A fire I was happy sparked
A moment I'd love to see, on repeat, at the theatre
A garden of blossoming purple hibiscus flowers
Maybe my lack of parking ability is my flaw
Maybe feeling ignited isn't something that's meant to last
Maybe I tried too hard to feel the viewer's angst
Probably my fault I got to watch the flowers die
If I knew the last time was going to be the last,
I would have held you tighter
I would have kissed you for way longer
Till my breathing ceased or got heavier
A case of right people vs wrong time
A case of hurt people vs sabotage
A case of a blind leading the crippled
A case of a bird afraid of the sky
So maybe I didn't think it would end great
Caught up in webs spawned at honeymoon phase
A book without a sequel , maybe an allegory
A published book to an unfinished story.
