I am tiger eye and bloodstone

fiercely looking back

and unattainable.

I am amber waves caught in time,

with resin sealing transparent wounds

where I am jaded green,

verdant like fields turned over and bearing life.

I am coral and pearl,

obscured vibrance

and captured beauty,

swaying and carried away

in the deep blue.

I am garnet and onyx

changing and undefined,

limitless and casting my net

wide as prisms carrying light.

I am royal amethyst and multicolored agate

with waves of shades working their way through me

and around the smooth and rough, irregular shapes

and jagged edges where I am cut and worn,

hiding treasure.
