Underwater Awakening
Healing With Earth’s Magical Elixir
Serenity beneath
the surface.
A sacred space beholds
a certain quiet —
calm, ambience,
effortlessly engulfing.
•
Treasure for those
seeking — the willing
are weightless, painless,
embraced in flow.
•
An infinite elixir,
drunken in-existence
uniting existence in
fluid alchemy.
•
A muted migration, the
pressure lifts, my
held breath stills,
my senses
surrendered.
•
A haven, sought
but often never
known by a
forced tide; drift.

Thank you for sharing your underwater adventures in poem format, by making it seem like ad adventure, it lessens the effects of the great, blue unknown to some individuals. I feel like the water is still pretty scary though! I know there is nothing to fear but fear itself, but we'll see how I can overcome this obstacle haha. Also, a few question to you (if you have time!): Did you find it difficult for you to post your poem in this format? If you have submitted poems to challenges before, how did you do it and did you find it difficult? I have been trying to submit some of my older poems to a challenge, but the submission bar won't display these past poems. Many thanks in advance! Daniel
