In the world of emotions, I believe the best mindset is this:

You can still like what you like, but allow yourself not to possess it for the time being; you can still oppose what you oppose, but allow it to exist. Like loving someone—if they are there, love them well; if they insist on leaving, let them go. Don't be obsessive, don't cling, and don't disturb. When they are present, love them wholeheartedly; when they are gone, wish them well.

Encounters don't necessarily have an ending, but they will always have meaning. On our journey to chase the moon, we are also illuminated by its light. Sometimes, just meeting certain people is already a stroke of luck.
