Bottom of the ocean

Waves crashing over me

Take my devotion

And I will bend the knee

But I can’t breathe

Under this pressure

I’m in too deep

Just a treasure

I’m sworn to keep

It’s slowly killing me

Dark secrets weigh heavy

My heart has no levee

Water is rushing in

The air fleeting and thin

I’m drowning inside

There’s nowhere to hide

My shame and your secrets

About the Creator

Caitlyn Ramberg

Enter the garden of my mind

And be surprised by what you find.

Stories and poems for sure,

But what of your own mind's allure?

Allow me the pleasure to share

The pieces of my mind laid bare.

Thank you for reading! I'd love to hear your thoughts!
