Unconditional Love (Dedicated to My Two Sons)
Love is best when its unconditional, especially between a father and his sons.

When I was down,
you hugged me.
When I was angry,
you calmed me.
When I let the words
of doubters drown me,
you pulled me out
of the brutal sea.
And when you faltered
and needed help,
I returned the favor:
no questions
need not be asked.
You taught me
unconditional love
and my world is a better place
to be.
I’ll always be there,
like you were.
I’ll always be there.
