A poem about war

Ukraine's Resilience

In Ukraine's land, where echoes weep,

a nation wounded, its spirit steeped,

in the crimson tears of a relentless fight,

where shadows dance with the darkest night.

*

Amidst the fields of golden grain,

a battlefield etched with pain,

war's cruel hand has left its mark,

shattering dreams, tearing hope apart.

*

Brother against brother, a tragic divide,

families torn, their love denied,

in the echoes of gunfire, children's cries,

an anguished symphony beneath the skies.

Yet in the midst of this ravaged land,

heroes arise, with courage so grand,

defenders of freedom, hearts afire,

they rise united, never to tire.

*

Amid the ruins, a flicker of grace,

resilient souls, they seek to embrace,

with every heartbeat, they yearn for peace,

their love for Ukraine shall never cease.

*

Oh, Ukraine, land of ancient tales,

your spirit soars, it never fails,

through hardship and pain, you stand tall,

a beacon of hope amidst the fall.

*

May peace descend upon your soil,

and heal the wounds that war did foil,

for in your strength, we find our light,

Ukraine, our prayers soar, day and night.
