Two little frogs moved into a tree and it was oak.
They collected little coins
From the swans down the pond.
They never stole but did
Little chores for the swans down the pond.
Two little frogs collected
Little coins that day
After repairing the swans' nest.
The swans said their thanks,
Gave them their coins,
And the frogs went to do
Their little frog things.
They went back to their tree that was oak.
They put their coins
In their little treasure chest.
They didn't know what to do with the little coins,
But saw the humans collecting little coins
And thought they should too.
Pretty soon their treasure chest was full
And the little frogs looked at each other and shrugged.
They made a new treasure chest and began
Collecting little rocks that were pretty.
These pretty little things
Made the little frogs happy,
But their happiness did not fade that
Day their tree that was oak burned from
Lightning, and little as they were they
Could not uncover their little treasure chests,
But instead looked up at the
Sun that was setting.
The little frogs noted the pink and orange
In the sky and decided to collect sightings
Of the different skies that would pass.
Each was pretty and made the little frogs
Happy.
Happy and calm the little frogs were
Because nothing could take the skies from them.
