Twinkle in the Sky

Everything and nothing is visible from up here

Upon this hill, soaked in the blue moons’ twilight

Valley walls appear as deep waves from darkness

The Sun bends its rays over the horizon

Giving rise to gleamy fabricated rooftops

Bringing its natural domains back to life

Time seems to race, then prance by

Blazing through the Vale of Riopelle

As life stands still on the bayside

Dancing winds urge endless movements

Nocturnal beings recede with the dark tides

While chirping and laughter billows into the skies

All towns look the same from up high

Like a Monet of a city after a long night

Smeared lights capture the attention of a passerby

So much of so little is seen here

In the twinkle of an eye
