In sundown's quiet, where shadows play
A murmured supplication, the world's last say
Listen well, for time is brief
As nature's pulse laments
The breezes that once tune sweet and free
Presently murmur alerts, wild and heedlessly
Of woodlands contracting, oceans ablaze
Furthermore, species waning, a world to resign
The moon over, a gleaming aide
Enlightens the way we should give
To recuperate the injuries, to patch the tear
To save the earth, our home so dear
Allow us to emerge, with hearts ablaze
Furthermore, join the tune of nature's name
For each breath, each step we take
Is a decision to save, or everlastingly share
In this melody of life, we're nevertheless a section
Associated strings, an embroidery to retouch and begin
Let love and trust lace all our deeds
What's more, together, we can sow the seeds of another belief
