Step in the tunnel, walls got teeth, they grin when they see me

Every step a trigger, every light a lie that won't free me

I been down here too long, breath cold, soul on freeze

Shadows throw hands like they training for my defeat

They call it a tunnel, I call it a trap with no exit

Every voice in my head sound like static and wreckage

They want me to kneel, want me to beg, want me to break

I give them the middle, give them the gas, give them the shake

Feet on the pavement, heart in my throat, lungs full of smoke

Hate in my rearview, hate in my blindspot, hate in my scope

I ain't scared of the dark, I was raised in the pitch black

Turn my pain to a blade, now I'm swinging it quick fast

They said I would fold, said I would choke, said I was done

Now I'm the one swinging back, now I'm the one on the run

Tunnel get longer, I get stronger, I don't need sun

I make my own light out the fire they tried to become
