Unrest takes root to prevail and conquer
Remnants of your fleeting sanity in a cascade of
Benign growth, displacing all contentment of hope
Unfurling a storm of overwhelming disarray whilst
Lingering amid manipulative deception on display
Eager advancement of the sword’s hilt thrusts deep
Nudging all else save pending thoughts of despair
Creating a margin of impending, uncertain demise
Encroaching onward in a quest for its sheath
