My Mind Is An Ocean

Thrashed by waves

Suddenly

Submerged under the ocean

Near to the shore

Tasting salt

I’m fighting against the waves

A fight I can not win

Over and over I go

Scraping against coral

Trying to battle my way

Up

The ocean isn’t done with me

Yet

It pushes me back down

Rolling me back and forth

Upside Down

Right side Up

But I’m learning

Looking up I see

Bellies of the Waves

Relax Relax Relax

Surrender

Love Love Love

Pay Attention

Ebb and Flow

Surrender

Thank you’s

To the Ocean

For the Reminder

I’m tumbled onto

Shore

Introvert. Music is my solace and nature is my church. Dabbled in acting, painting, raptor rehab, and comedy. I enjoy the aforementioned, as well as sci fi, stand up comics, history, science, spirituality, the paranormal, and napping.
