Unleash and smother every concrete brick, cobbled footpath,
electric billboard – Shower sparks…
Slip dull shells and pearl necklaces from the prodigal thief;
They glisten against Poseidon’s skin.
Swallow tar, recede with a crumpled Toyota or Cadillac –
Fresh flotsam and jetsam.
Sink each newly devout cadaver amongst disintegrating ships.
Jones isn’t so ‘life-giving’.
