Not many know
how to cultivate these qualities
of softness and strength together.
When we can blend these two together,
we can face life’s challenges
with a clear vision
as to where we are going.
We are able to ‘navigate’
through our journey of life
in a balanced way.
Showing empathy and compassion
whilst staying strong to our own opinions
is showing respect,
for others and for ourselves.
Also,
others will respect us
when we ‘stand our ground’
and
stay strong towards our own principles.
This will inspire trust too.
