In the stillness of the night,
Where shadows waltz with waning light,
A true friend stands, unwaveringly near,
A radiant beacon, banishing fear.
Through tempests fierce and drenching rain,
Through heartache deep and searing pain,
A true friend's hand, warm and kind,
Soothes the restless, troubled mind.
In the symphony of joyous laughter,
In silent moments, words sought after,
A true friend knows, without a doubt,
The silent cries your soul shouts out.
Across vast distances, or time apart,
A true friend resides within the heart,
An unbroken bond, strong and pure,
A love that time cannot obscure.
In the garden of our fleeting years,
A true friend tends and gently steers,
Seeds of hope and blooms of grace,
A cherished, constant, sacred place.
So here’s to friends, steadfast and true,
Who see the very best in you,
With them, we find our truest home,
With them, we know we're not alone.
