Bursting flavours char
Flames lick up, drip down goodness
Sensual sizzle
~
This haiku was written for the Haiku Challenge released by the Vocal Social Society on Facebook. Although I haven’t done many challenges from other groups in a while, this one looked too delicious to pass up.
I just had to write about tacos, especially as I made homemade trompo/ Tacos Al Pastor yesterday. The fat dripping down as the meat is slow cooked, the crispy outer armor, the moist well marinated meat in adobo- it’s mouthwatering!
Hopefully you’ll try this challenge out too, just write a foodie haiku!

Dammmmn that pic, your haiku and your description make a mouthwatering trifecta of yummy!
Bursting lick drip sizzle - an aural delight. Tantalising imagery (even though I don’t eat meat lol) 😍
Mmm! Tasty Haiku!
Not my fave food, but an excellent haiku

Perfect! I am so hungry now! Love the onomatopoeia ! 🤍
Ooohhh, drool worthy!
Why you make me so hungry? 🤣🤣🤣 Lol, loved your Haiku!
Very well done. Great entry.
Fabulous!!!❤️❤️💕
😲😲😲😲😲 yes! HOT in many ways. Delicious! ❤
Only 3 oz. per meal per my dietary instructions as a recently diagnosed diabetic. But the smells & the sizzles are free for the taking.
I like your take on this challenge, very well done
