Trip Through the Ages

An ancient void of ice, rock, and gasses.

Watching from its moon, the colossal Jupiter passes.

Light will be distorted, so prepare your mental senses.

The slate has been cleaned and has made adjustments for the lenses.

Things we can't see are replacing our inner voices.

Our universe is forever affected by our rippling choices.

Everything we sense is in motion.

A look to the stars is a thousand years of devotion.

Align today, look at me. The elements in my body are from the stars you see.

Look at Saturn, the rings are at my feet.

Fire and planets are affected by gravity.

Look at me, in my mind I'm free.

I travel the cosmos, oh it's the greatest place to be.

Now look at Earth, teeming with collections of life and confusing cultures in toil. Bands of people, hand in hand they rebel and find a resounding tune, something to gather to and vow a replacement for their troubles.

In the beginning there was light, heat and pressure, and atoms vibrating. Somehow, then I was fully conscious.

Look at Mars, cool and resting, now haunted.

Look at Venus, now boiling and gaseous.

Look at Neptune, swirling and storming for years.

Look at Uranus, belonging to a windy plane.

Look at Pluto, distantly shivering.

Look at Mercury, burning and turning.
