Triolets About Daily Life for Me

Thunderstorm

The house is shaking

I can't sleep in my bed

My bed is quaking

The house is shaking

Rain pelting windows, close to breaking

The lightning fills me with dread

The house is shaking

I can't sleep in my bed

Daytime

So hot, this summer daytime

My plants don't need the heat

Frying in this body of mine

So hot, this summer daytime

After work my crispy leaves I find

Need to water them but, I'm beat

So hot, this summer daytime

My plants don't need the heat

Nightime

So what it's nighttime?

I don't need to rest yet

I'm doing just fine

So what it's nighttime?

In the morning I'll feel like grime

Hate life and filled with regrets

So what? It's nighttime.

I don't need to rest yet...
