Here are the rules of tricubes:

Each line contains three syllables.

Each stanza contains three lines.

Each poem contains three stanzas.

So we're talking cubes in mathematical terms (to the third power). No rules for rhymes, meter, etc. Just three, three, and three.

Saturday
Something soon
Special day
~
National
French fry day
Fair food day
~
Then there is
Day of peace
and pet day

Author's Note: Okay, I have to admit it isn't day of Peace Day, but every day should be a day of peace. Then there is pet day. It is really pet photo day, but that is celebrating pets, right? So how about another Tricubes poem?

Fundraising
is not fun
take fun out
~
Submitting
proposals
can be tough
~
Reviewing
even tougher
draising bites!

Author's Note: So maybe you can tell, I am reviewing a grant proposal to even be allowed to apply for the dollars, and I just finished a fundraising project. Time for another to make it three!

Hubby is
on the mend
about time
~
no crutches
the lawn mowed
he can drive
~
It is huge
I do say
What a day!

Author's Note: Celebrating a surgeon and healing, and that hubby is not dead. He hit a deer (or the deer hit him) on his motorcycle and he kept riding. He had a fracture and torn ligament. His bike took a hit, and it is ready to ride. But he can't ride yet! He says it wrecked his summer and I say, but you are alive!
