She was a woman of unwavering faith,
Whose devotion to God never wavered or strayed,
With a gentle spirit and a heart of gold,
She lived her life as a testament to what she believed and told.
Every Sunday, she would dress in her best,
And head to church, where she could find rest,
In the presence of her Creator and Lord,
Whose love for her, she adored.
She would pray for us, her family and friends,
Asking God to bless us and keep us from harm's ends,
And we knew that her prayers were heard,
For in her faith, there was no doubt or word.
Her life was a living prayer,
An example of how we should care,
For each other and for God above,
Whose grace and mercy she knew and loved.
And even though she is no longer with us,
Her spirit lives on, still shining and luminous,
For in her life, she taught us all,
The value of faith, and how to answer God's call.
So here's to you, dear grandma of ours, my gist partner,
Whose life and faith was like blooming flowers,
We know that you are now at peace,
In the presence of God, where all sorrows cease.
