Dashing about with boldness and daring

in treetops like pirates swarming a

sloop. Squirrels are the Merrymakers!

They are the Troubadours in life.

Rakish scamps who live with

a Joi de Vivre! A frenzy of fun!

Climbing and careening _Bold and brash in

their fine little fur suits of auburn or gray.

Inviting all to kibbutz. Like yentas

outside the window. Here now_There later.

No cares_ no worries. Oh, to live like them!

About the Creator

Rulam Day

In another life I was a pirate, a race car driver, and a spy. But those are stories for another time. Rulam Day is an anagram of my name, Mary Daul. I publish under both.
