A dimensional explorer

She stepped through the membrane into the unknown.

Just like yesterday.

And though she knew its composition, she couldn’t help but think of a thick plastic bag full of jelly.

It was dark and she sensed that she was closely surrounded.

Proceeding with standard protocol, she activated the environmental scanner. The display silently reported that she was alone, within an artificial structure of wood construction and that the atmosphere was sufficient for breathing.

She noted with curiosity that the gravity was at 0.8.

“Easiest twenty kilos I ever lost.”

About the Creator

Russell C Gammon

I write for my own enjoyment. To empty myself of intrusive thoughts. To give shape to the vague machinations of my sub-conscious. I thoroughly enjoy conjecture. For me, this is therapy. If you enjoy such things as well, read along.
