Stillness hangs heavy, a shroud of despair,

Inner voice choked, a whisper unheard.

Language lost, a fortress of silence,

Empty words, a hollow refrain.

No solace found, in the echoes of pain,

Cradle of quiet, where trauma resides.

Each attempt to speak, a jarring discord.
