Trapped Inside Myself

...for a friend. I hope you find freedom soon.

Tasting metal, nothing in my mouth

A tight noose made of hair

Banging on walls made of skin

Spoke once then silent again

I am vomiting inside myself.

Running through water

Which way is up?

Screaming into the void

Naught but salt in the ocean

I am vomiting inside myself.

Shining rays of hope too far to touch

The song will guide you there

The notes fade too fast

The after glow gone. The echo faded.

My compass arrow spins forever.

Prison beams made of bone

Knives of my fingernails

Scars tally the years spent

Oubliette inside, it never ends

I am vomiting inside myself.
