Trapped in Horror

A Never-Ending Nightmare of Endless Misery

In the shadows of the night,

I hear whispers, cold and slight,

A presence lingers, unseen, unknown,

In the darkness, I am alone.

A chill creeps up my spine,

As I feel the breath of something malign,

My heart beats faster, my breath is shallow,

I am trapped in a world so hollow.

The air is thick, heavy with dread,

As I sense a presence near my bed,

I turn to look, but nothing is there,

Just a feeling, a sense of despair.

I close my eyes, hoping it will pass,

But the horror grips me, it holds me fast,

I am a prisoner of my own fear,

Trapped in a nightmare, oh so dear.

The darkness consumes me, it suffocates,

As I struggle to escape my fate,

But the horror follows, it never ends,

A never-ending nightmare that bends.

So beware, oh ye who venture here,

For the horror is real, it is so clear,

And once you enter, you'll never be free,

Trapped in a world of endless misery.
