Trapped In A Non Moving Body

A silent disabled scream no one ever hears

Trapped In A Non Moving Body

My body became a rusted cage

Locked tight around a living soul

Every day feels another page

Written without control

I watch the world continue fast

While I remain painfully still

Dreams collapse into the past

Against my stubborn will

Muscles sleep beneath my skin

Heavy as soaked concrete stone

Even simple movement feels thin

Like strength has fully flown

People say they understand pain

Still they walk away with ease

They never hear the silent strain

Hidden beneath these failing knees

The ceiling became my second sky

Walls became familiar friends

I learned how slowly hours die

When movement suddenly ends

My mind still races far ahead

Wanting places I cannot reach

While this motionless frame of dread

Keeps every freedom out of reach

The body I once trusted deeply

Turned against me overnight

Leaving exhaustion buried steeply

Inside each endless night

Some days I barely know my name

Watching weakness spread like smoke

Still I carry stubborn flame

Inside a spirit never broke

So though this body barely moves

My soul still claws against the dark

Searching for forgotten truths

While protecting one last spark
