Transformation isn't always sweet and bright.
It's a dark and murky, painful pushing,
an unraveling of untruths you've carried in your body,
a practice in facing your demons,
a complete uprooting, before becoming.
First, it unfolds within.
Then, it manifests on the outside.
Your life does not get better by chance;
it gets better by change.
Some things not of your will may happen,
which can alter your identity.
But you will need to take back your life,
into your own hands,
if you want to live life on your own terms.

Your life does not get better by chance; it gets better by change. There's just so much truth in those lines. Your poem was so profound and powerful!
Absolutely resonant words! Transformation isn't always this picturesque, radiant evolution
