Two troubadours told tall tales

To three tired travelers

Tarrying to take the time to taste

The treats that topped the table

.

These trying times take their toll

They testified to the thirsty trio

That trailed them, town to town

Trekking through time

.

Together these two troubled types

Terrified the tongue-tied teens

Traipsing timidly through

The tortuous terrain’s terrible turns

.

Then the tenors turned the tables.

Tenderly they took turns taming

The trembling tribe

“There, there. Tis tolerable”

.

The teens turned tranquil

Time tamped tabular their throes

Terror turned to torpid thoughts

The toxins took their toll

.

They tasted the terminal travail

Their trust torn to tatters

They took terse time to tremble

Then touched their terminus

.

To the tomb, they traveled.
